Corey A. Siegel attended both college and medical school in Boston, MA, at Tufts University before moving to New Hampshire to complete his residency in internal medicine at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. After serving as a chief medical resident, he stayed at Dartmouth for a fellowship in gastroenterology, then he returned to Boston to complete a fellowship in inflammatory bowel disease at the Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Siegel has now returned to New Hampshire where he is the Director of the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.
Dr. Siegel's research interests include understanding the risk:benefit trade-offs in inflammatory bowel disease and improving risk communication for patients.
He is a section editor for Inflammatory Bowel Diseases and serves as a reviewer for Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology and Gastroenterology.
Dr. Siegel is an active member of the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) at both local and national level. He currently serves as a member of the New England chapter medical advisory committee and is also a member of the national physician education committee.
